New blended course Clinical Development for entrepreneurial biomedical professionals

The blended course Clinical Development (part online and part on-campus) from Paul Janssen Futurelab Leiden introduces the concept of Question-Based Clinical Development (QBCD) and builds your skills with teaching cases. Learn the basics of QBCD and receive personal feedback from your teacher Saco de Visser. Join us on-campus where you will work in interdisciplinary teams and gain hands-on experience through teaching cases based on real-world research projects from industry. Meet key opinion leaders who were involved in these research projects and learn from their experience and the decisions that were taken during the development of their product. Do you have a novel idea for a medical intervention? Stay for the on-campus extended course and write a clinical trial proposal with 1-on-1 guidance from an experienced mentor. This year, participants from a Dutch research institute or hospital can again enter the “Best Clinical Trial Protocol Challenge” for a chance to win a competitive ZonMw grant of €500.000,-

Professionals from over 10 countries in Asia, Europe, Middle East and USA from industry and academia have already participated in our courses. The on-campus has created a lasting experience and a solid network among our alumni and mentors. Will you join the Futurelab?

The next online course will start on March 5, 2018. The on-campus courses will take place in June, 2018. Due to the intensive feedback and interactions with the teacher, spots are limited for both the online and on-campus programs. Visit our website for more information.
