Eric Houtman (1977) is IT Director at CHDR. He brings more than 25 years of experience in information technology, including over 20 years in the Contract Research Organization (CRO) industry supporting clinical research and drug development.
Prior to joining CHDR, Eric held senior IT leadership roles at leading CROs such as Quintiles, IQVIA, and Julius Clinical. In these positions, he was responsible for IT strategy, digital transformation, and the delivery of reliable, secure, and compliant IT services in highly regulated research environments.
At CHDR, Eric is responsible for strengthening the IT landscape that supports high-quality clinical research. His focus includes scalable and secure platforms, information security and compliance, and enabling data-driven decision-making. He is known for connecting technology with scientific and operational needs, ensuring IT effectively supports CHDR’s mission to accelerate drug development through innovative clinical research.
