Each study is led by a dedicated team headed by a principal investigator, and managed by a clinical study manager alongside a (senior) project leader. This collaborative team includes medical and clinical experts such as study physicians, nurses, and lab specialists, as well as a team leader for nursing, recruitment and administrative staff, data processing and programming representatives, and clinical trial assistants. Prior to each study, the entire team convenes in a project team meeting to thoroughly review the study protocol, ensuring everyone is fully aligned and trained on the scope and procedures. We place a strong emphasis on training and compliance, with all personnel undergoing extensive training, including regular Good Clinical Practice (GCP) refreshers.
Our dedicated research unit is equipped to conduct clinical pharmacology studies and integrate biomarker-based methodologies to demonstrate proof-of-pharmacology early in the development of novel compounds. We invest around 10% of our annual revenues in the development and validation of these methods, and we work closely with sponsors to develop or validate specific biomarkers as needed.
