Diana Pereira (1986) earned her Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Minho, Portugal, in 2011. She began her career in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, developing biological platforms and translational approaches to support tissue regeneration research in collaboration with the University of Galway, Ireland.
Since joining CHDR in 2017, Diana has played a key role in expanding the capabilities of the Translational Biomarkers R&D laboratory. As Associate Director, R&D Laboratory, she leads the development of innovative biomarker strategies and cell-based assay platforms that support early clinical development across multiple therapeutic areas. Her team enables the assessment of drug activity, target engagement, and pharmacodynamic effects in human studies, helping clients gain deeper insights into mechanism of action and make data-driven development decisions.
