Mirabegron Mechanism of Action

Abstract

Mirabegron is used for the treatment of symptoms associated with overactive bladder syndrome. It selectively stimulates the β₃-adrenoreceptor, which relaxes the detrusor muscle. This improves urine storage by distension of the bladder body.
