Research technician

The Centre for Human Drug Research (CHDR), originating from Leiden University Medical Center, is a top class Leiden-based contract research organization. CHDR focuses on early phase clinical research. It is unique in combining industry standard processes and quality with top level science and methodology. CHDR’s bioanalytical laboratory develops and applies cell-based assays and techniques, such as flow cytometry, cell sorting, and ex vivo cell stimulations. These methods and techniques are required for demonstration of drug effects in clinical studies, performed in healthy volunteers or patients.

CHDR is recruiting a research technician with extensive bioanalytical/molecular experience, to coordinate such bioanalytical activities.

Job Requirements:

  • · Education: HLO;
  • · Minimum experience of 8-10 years in flow cytometry and cell culture;
  • · Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously;
  • · Experienced in training and supervising other technicians;
  • · Fluent in English and preferably in Dutch;
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Good Laboratory Practice, Good Clinical Practice and other applicable regulatory requirements.
